We recommend booking 4–8 weeks in advance, especially for peak wedding season (May–October). That said, we can often accommodate requests with as little as 1–2 weeks notice outside of busy periods. Rush booking fees apply within 7 days.
Not a problem. We bring large-capacity portable battery packs that can power access points for 8–14 hours. For Starlink, we need at least one standard outlet near the setup area, or we can discuss generator options for fully off-grid situations.
Absolutely — it's one of our most requested setups. On our higher connectivity tiers we prioritize your stream's upstream bandwidth so it stays ahead of guests posting to Instagram. Actual throughput depends on Starlink conditions, so for a must-have stream we'll plan the setup with you in advance.
Each access point covers roughly 1,500–2,000 sq ft in open outdoor conditions. Walls, trees, and terrain reduce that range. We'll review your venue layout before the event to position APs for maximum coverage.
Starlink disruptions are rare and usually brief. We monitor the connection remotely throughout your event and will alert you promptly if anything needs attention. If you have mission-critical needs like vendor payment processing, let us know in advance so we can plan for them.
Yes — island venues are actually where MeshMaine shines most. If the venue has a clear view of the sky, Starlink works. We've handled logistics to island and remote waterfront venues and can discuss transportation of equipment during the booking process.
