The internet will happily tell you one is for normal people and the other is for tech obsessives, but that's not how it actually works. We install both in southern Maine and New Hampshire homes, and the honest answer to “eero vs. Ubiquiti” is that they solve the same problem in different ways — and the right one depends on your house, not on which brand has the louder fans.

You can reduce that by wiring eeros back to the router where cable exists, but at that point you're often in the territory where UniFi is the better-engineered choice. UniFi is usually the right call when…
